From Kuala Kangsar to Hard Rock Penang

Here comes the best part...holiday!

To tell the truth...it was a damn struggle before I can even pack my stuffs (well actually wife yang banyak tolong pack...hehe). Thats because my mind always at work! Believe me not..until the last moment just hours before flight to KL I am still working and attending meeting! 3pm wife dah call tanya..are you still busy? Hadui...kalut time tu. Somehow, I manage to escape...yeay!

By 6 pm dah sampai airport. We took Emirates airline and it was a smooth flight. Kat airport tu dah tak ingat apa...cuma pikir nak makan apa kat KL nanti...hehe. Maklum la...macam macam yang teringin. One thing good about Emirates Airline is they have their own terminal. So takde la beratur panjang nak check in.

Potong cerita kasi pendek...me, my wife and my ma and pa inlaw pun pergi la Penang drive je. We booked 2 standard rooms in Hard Rock Penang sebab tengok kat booking.com rating nya agak tinggi. Actually niat nak ke Penang tu nak cari durian balik pulau...bila pergi cari je yang nampak hanya putik durian...huhu. Musimnya lambat lagi. So check in la kat Hard Rock. Suddenly...they upgraded us to deluxe room facing sea from a standard room facing garden...yeeeha! Dah la tu...siap bagi welcome drink yang sedap.

The room kinda large. Kalau ada 2 kanak kanak pun boleh duduk in 1 room. Yang best about the room is the decor...its like a rock star zaman 60an. Channel di TV juga personalize siap boleh pilih category rancangan. Tapi datang jauh jauh bukan nak tengok tv kan? We are aiming for the scene..the pool and the sea! Apa lagi..so kemaruk nak santai kat pool ni kan..so we rent a cabana next to the pool. Dalam cabana tu dah macam pondok pondok. Boleh golek golek dalam tu dan order makan dan minum from there...heaven! But its not just me and my wife yang enjoy. Rasanya...mama and papa lagi over joy..hehe.

Thats my wife, ma and pa inlaw tengah santai. 

 Dekat cabana..ada pulak anak mat saleh ni cakap 'there is a baby turtle inside the pool but you cant see it coz the turtle doesn't like adults girl'...boleh? Pening kenit ni!

Kat Hard Rock Penang ni ada 3 Hard Rock Hotel merchandise shop. So apa lagi...rombongan cik jah pun buat lawatan sambil membeli...hehe. Aku pun rembat la baju kemeja sehelai buat kenangan. 2 malam di sini memang puas hati dangan keselesaan dan layanan mereka. Setiap petang dekat pool nanti staff Hard Rock akan buat their own performance. Ada juga yang muka macam kena paksa...hehe. But dia buat jugak la.

Tiba la hari nak checkout...masing masing buat buat lewat je. Yela sebab macam sekejap je kan. Pagi tu we all breakfast kat warung depan hotel...makan nasi lemak bungkus! Perggg...pedas dan sedap! Tapi lepas tu...kena santai la dalam toilet..haha! On the way back...we decided to use the nostalgic 'Feri Pulau Pinang'. Teringat time kecik kecik dulu...I wish they will keep and maintain the service for future generation.

After more than 20 years..here I am again on the Feri Pulau Pinang...so cool and full of memories. Hope to be back again...Insha Allah.
